5 steps to buying a home.
1) Get Pre-Approved
It is so important to get pre-approved before starting to look at homes.
This can help solidify your budget, and when you find the home you love, making an offer is easy.
We have connections with experienced lenders who have been in the business for years and share our values.
2) House Hunt & Making an Offer
After you are preapproved, the fun begins… As your agent, we will fine tune searches for you, send you the newest listings that just hit the market & show you as many houses as it takes to find the perfect fit for you.
Once you are ready to place an offer, we will draft up an offer and advise you on additional terms we can add to increase the competitiveness of your offer.
3) Earnest Money, Inspections & Appraisal
Once your offer is accepted, the ball starts rolling - timelines & contingencies start ticking.
We will keep you apprised of every step along the way.
Through depositing earnest money, scheduling inspections, negotiating the repair addendum, and having an successful appraisal, we are thinking ahead and solving problems before they happen.
4) Paperwork, Paperwork & More Paperwork
Throughout the entire home buying process there is a plethora of paperwork.
Everyone needs something from you.
We do our best to prepare you for this, and to always be expecting last minute requests from your lender for another set of pay stubs.
5) Signing, Funding, Recording… And the home is yours!
After about 35-40 days after your offer was accepted, closing day is here.
You will have already signed closing documents with escrow and now are waiting for the deal to be recorded with the county.
As your Broker we will be staying in touch with the escrow officer throughout the day, and will call you as soon as the home has recorded,
and the home is yours.
